MINISTRY MISSION: The purpose of the CHEFs (Christian Hospitality Encourages Fellowship) Team is to encourage friendship and a sense of community within the congregation. The CHEFs Team accomplishes this by providing food and drink following each service in a social setting, which encourages fellowship. The CHEFs Team is also called upon to provide drinks and light catering for special events and occasions in the life of the church.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up, serving and clean up of refreshments. As this is a vital ministry that directly affects our Sunday worship, accountability is a must.

SKILLS AND GIFTS: Enjoy working with people, serving others and being a part of our church’s outreach to the wider community. CHEFs is an excellent way to get involved in meeting people, organizing hospitality and working together to see that God’s people get fed, both in body and spirit.
TIME REQUIREMENT: Service time includes a once a month commitment, which includes set up tear down and clean up, depending on your service schedule. You need to arrive for set up 30 minutes prior to the service and clean up will require about 30 minutes after CHEFs has finished with refreshments.
 
Once committed, team training will be provided.
