MINISTRY MISSION: We are an outreach ministry, focusing on both congregants and non-congregants alike to address the special needs of all those impacted with or by HIV-AIDS. Our socially-relevant ministry includes a yearly retreat that considers the spiritual dimensions of the disease, a World AIDS Day service, counseling, resourcing and promotion of a better understanding of the issues presented by HIV-AIDS. We are also a ministry seeking to help existing AIDS Service Organizations in local programs to stop the spread of this disease. The Ezekiel Project seeks to make MCCGSL an HIV-positive welcoming church where all can come and experience God’s love as shown by Christ.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: We hold monthly meetings where we discuss and plan for upcoming events and programs designed to provide a loving, understanding presence to those struggling with this disease in its many aspects. Team members are dedicated to MCCGSL holding a prominent place in our community as a safe space where all are accepted and loved as God’s children.
 
SKILLS AND GIFTS: You must be an understanding, compassionate, patient team-player who is open and accepting of ALL people as God’s children, worthy of the utmost dignity and respect.

TIME REQUIREMENT: Once a month meeting, participate if possible in the annual spring retreat, World AIDS Day service planning and execution, and other events throughout the year.
