MINISTRY MISSION: The Golf Team is an outreach program whose purpose is to provide a social setting where congregational members and non-members have fun while raising money for the church ministries. Non-members have an opportunity to get to know the people in the church and understand the church’s mission.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Golf Team has the primary responsibility for the overall planning, organizing, executing and evaluating of the church’s annual Golf Tournament. We prepare a plan for the organization, promotion and execution of the Annual Golf Tournament and solicit sponsorships, auction items, goodie bag items, raffle prizes and players; actively involving all church members in the pursuit of these items. All members serve on one or more of the sub-team groups.
 
SKILLS AND GIFTS: Ability to organize ideas, people, and projects to reach a specific goal. Ability to recognize a need, and get the job done, no matter how trivial the task. Give personal free time, talent, and treasure.
 
TIME REQUIREMENT: Monthly meetings, usually 7 months prior to the golf tournament, and weekly meetings, one month prior to the tournament. Attendance on the day of the tournament is also required.
