MINISTRY MISSION: The Ushers Team is an important part of ministry at MCCGSL. The team makes that crucial “first impression” with a friendly smile and welcoming attitude for everyone who attends an MCCGSL service or event.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Ushers Team members are responsible for:
• Directing newcomer.
• Answering questions.
• Offering a friendly hello to all who enter the church.
• Distributing items prior to service.
• Providing service as needed for those with physical challenges and assisting with seating, as needed, once worship has begun.
• Collection of the offering.
• Direct during communion.
• Bulletin clean up in the sanctuary after service.

SKILLS AND GIFTS: Dedicated and reliable people with smiling faces to greet people as they arrive. Once service begins, the team does mostly behind-the-scene work throughout each service. Terrific opportunity to meet new people and get to know current worship congregation! Our existing team members are also WONDERFUL PEOPLE to get to know and work with!

TIME REQUIREMENT: Approximately one service a month, approximately 30 minutes prior to service start and 20 minutes at the end of service.
