Welcome!
MCCGSL is a place “Where Everyone Belongs.” So, we invite you to join us and expect a welcoming, open-hearted, and positive spiritual community.
As You arrive…
We have two parking lots and plenty of street parking. The lots are located behind our building and on the opposite corner from our building. The best entrance to use is the red double doors on Koeln Avenue under the blue awning. That entrance is closest to our sanctuary and is handicap accessible. As you come in, expect a warm greeting as we are often noted as a very hospitable church!
WHAT IS THE WORSHIP SERVICE LIKE?
Our worship service is full of great music, and we are known for our award-winning choir. There will also be prayer and a message that hopefully both encourages and challenges you! Each week we also offer an open Communion where everyone is welcome to the table. Our services usually last about an hour.
I'M NOT A MEMBER OF THE CHURCH. WILL I BE WELCOME?
Yes! We welcome people of all faiths and traditions as well as those who are just searching and want to “try out” MCC.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Wear whatever makes you comfortable. Be as dressed up or as casual as you like because that's what you will see others do! One of our refrains is, “Come as you are, believing as you do.”
WHERE IS the CHURCH?
We are located on the corner of Michigan and Koeln in The Patch neighborhood. This is just a few blocks from the Loughborough exit off of interstate 55. Our address is 7423 Michigan Avenue, 63111, and we recommend you use GPS as some roadwork on I-55 is causing some detours.
