We will be returning to our Wednesday night classes -- this month we will be exploring phrases and ideas that people in faith communities often say like “God helps those who help themselves” in a class called “Half Truths” where we’ll take a deeper look at these phrases that sound Christian or even like something you might find in the Bible. They capture some element of truth, yet they miss the point in important ways.

This class goes along with our January series “Misquoting Scripture” Where we will explore various popular phrases and find out if they are Biblical or not.

Throughout this class, we will be moving through Adam Hamilton's book of the same name: "Half Truths." Though it is not a required reading for the class, you are welcome to purchase it and read alongside the course to go a bit deeper than we will be able to in class.
