Item #1 — Bluegrass and Bourbon Getaway: Enjoy a two night stay at the Hyatt Regency Downtown Louisville as a starting point to explore the Bluegrass State. Birthplace of Abraham Lincoln and Wes Shirley, you can venture down the Bourbon Trail in downtown, or choose your own adventure. The package also includes tickets to the Churchill Downs Museum, the Louisville Slugger Museum and of course, a tasting for two at a local bourbon distillery - all within walking distance of your hotel! You'll also receive gift cards for most of your meals and to cover gas to get there and back. Only a four hour drive from St. Louis, this Bluegrass Getaway is sure to have something for everyone. The hotel is NOT available during Kentucky Derby events, but is available most anytime throughout the year. Expires December 2023.
Item #2 — Secret Gardener: Transform your yard or garden this spring with the help of an award-winning gardener. This amazing item includes a variety of priceless opportunities including gardening consultation (2 hours) and installation (6 hours) by Gene Pulliam, the Secret Gardener. For your inspiration, you and a guest will come to Gene's award-winning garden for a private happy hour including beverages and light refreshments. Gene has also arranged for you and a guest to join him on a private Surrey Tour at the Missouri Botanical Gardens this spring, followed by lunch at Sassafras Cafe. You'll also receive a $200 gift certificate from the Garden Heights Nursery plus some new garden tools and accessories. Expires December 2023.
Item #3 — Pride Night Package: Show your pride, hear our amazing choir, enjoy a Cards game and spend the night downtown with a fantastic package of food, fun and more, on Friday, June 9. You and a guest can start your evening before the game with a Field Visit - a unique opportunity to go on the warning track, behind home plate, at the end of batting practice - players will occasionally sign autographs but is not guaranteed. Then you can dine on delicious concession food with a $100 gift card and listen to the MCCGSL choir sing the National Anthem. The Pride Night Package also includes a room for two at the Hyatt Regency at the Arch, breakfast the next day and a few other goodies.
Item #4 — Murder Mystery Dinner Party: Spend a memorable evening trying to solve a murder mystery and enjoy a multi-course meal provided by our church staff. Your party of 8-10 guests can mix and mingle throughout the night while enjoying themed beverages and delicious food, all while trying to figure out 'whodunnit'! You will schedule the dinner party on a mutually agreed upon date, and can work with the staff to select your party theme to make the event a unique and fun experience. Expires December 2023.
Item #5 — One Week in Arizona: Spend a week sometime between April 15th and October 15th of 2023. Located in Apache Junction, AZ which about 30 minutes east of Phoenix, you will stay in a 1 bedroom, 2 bath house with a sleeper sofa in the living room, so that it can accommodate up to 4 adults. The home is located in a 55+ gated RV community with a heated swimming pool, hot tub, 3 pickleball courts, and 2 pool tables. Tonto National Forest is an easy 15 minute drive away, and there is a Botanical Walk and hiking area about 10 minutes away. You will find lots of restaurants and many things to do in Apache Junction or in the surrounding areas. This package comes with $600 cash towards your travel expenses, plus $200 for rental car credit (total of $800).
