The 1619 Project is a New Origin Story, one that centers on the contributions of Black people that started before Pilgrims landed on Plymouth Rock in the Mayflower. In February, we taught a class introducing us to the main themes of the book and NYT Magazine of the same name. Now, we will take our understanding of the 1619 Project to the next level. Join us Wednesdays in May as we explore the rest of the chapters in the book. You are welcome to join whether you came to Part I of the class or not.
We look forward to experiencing the amazing gift of understanding the diversity of our history! Reserve your spot below.
