The Gospel of Matthew opens the New Testament, bringing with it the revolutionary idea that heaven has come to earth. It is widely believed that the writer of this Gospel was a tax collector, before he was called as one of the Lord's Apostles. While Matthew's gospel is clearly written for a Jewish Christian audience living within the immediate proximity of the homeland itself, how is the revolution still stirring in the interpretations of these words to us today? Join us for 5-week bible study Wednesday nights after Easter while we see what we can discern from the words of Matthew.
